The Madewell Medium Tote...

I recently purchased this tote from Madewell. My previous shoulder bag was from Aldo, and although cute, it started falling apart. Although Madewell is a little more pricy, I decided I wanted to invest in a nicer looking and lasting bag. Additionally, ever since I purchased the little brown tote from Madewell, I’ve been drooling over all of their others in the Madewell collection. So, when I got back from Europe, I decided to go with the medium tote because it fits my laptop and a notebook. I don’t need that much room and I hate lugging around big bags, so I decided this would be the perfect size for me.

Lastly, one of my favorite features about the bag, are the straps. There are two hand straps, and then a shoulder strap which is awesome for when I’m walking to my classes or am carrying a big load in from my car. It also give you a few different ways to wear it with your outfits. Ah, I love it! Overall, I highly recommend this bag not only the way it looks, but most of for the quality.

February in SF...

This past Saturday, Nils and I went to San Francisco. We were going to go to the Ferry Building and walk around the farmers market, but couldn’t find any parking, so we headed down the piers until we reached Pier 39. We don’t visit this part of San Francisco often because it’s very touristy.  Buttttt after parking and walking down Lombard Street, we ran into this Açaí bowl place that was so good! It was called Cafe de Casa. They offer all different kinds of food and coffee that all looked so delicious!! I already can't wait to go back. Haha.

This outfit was perfect for the city! We are finally starting to get some sunnier weather in the Bay, but SF can get a bit chilly. I loved wearing this romper because it was long sleeved, which made it more resistant against the wind and then had shorts which made it awesome to walk around in! I loved it!

PS: Also Happy Valentines day to my bub! I love you! <3

Outfit details...

Valentines day is starting to creep up on us, and before it does so I wanted to give you a couple great dress ideas for the day. This first bold red dress is one of my absolute favorites! I can’t get over the amazing details— those sleeves and pockets!!

However, as much as I love this red dress, I’ll probably be in class and studying all of valentines day because it falls on a Wednesday. So... I decided to also put together a more casual look. I got this navy blue/red dress from Topshop in Amsterdam. When I tried it on, I immediately fell in love with the pattern (which are red lips) and how the dress flows. I think it will be such a fun transitional look.

Hope I helped give you a few ideas for Valentines day. Thanks for stopping by and hope you have an amazing week!
